Any lovers of the ballet and the classic repertoire here.

Anyone going to the new season at the Royal Ballet. I adore Tchaikovsky ballet music and have tickets for Swan Lake early October with Odette/Odile -
Alexandra Ansanelli and Prince Siegfried - David Makhateli. I am especially pleased to get Ansanelli as her form and extension just seems so unique to my inexperienced eye in photo and clip, I really want to see her dance live.

I’m keen on ballet and go to The Mayflower, Southampton whenever possible. A high point was the Moscow Classical Ballet production of ‘Swan Lake’ a few years ago.

Old favourites are ‘Nutcracker’ and ‘Giselle’.

I'm not a big ballet fan, but in February I will be going to a programme of three short works which includes Weill's Seven Deadly Sins (which is more a cross between an opera and a ballet) - I saw a very impressive performance at the Edinburgh festival a couple of years ago.
