A short ride north on the number 73 from Islington.
Now been closed (as a venue) for a while (unless something has happened in the last couple of years).
Was run by Joe Giltrap (no mean musician himself), what a great venue for live music it was. I saw some great performances there - mostly roots based, but some other stuff too. Ron Kavana (many times), Robert Earl Keene, Terry Clarke, the Four Brothers, Jon Otway, John Hegley, The Crayfish Five, Balfa Toujours, Guy Clark ..... wish I could remember them all.
Anyone else ever been there?
