Naim snaxo/naxo - avondale amps - a good idea?? erik mudlark 28-01-10, 10:27 AM Of course, I would guess. i use avondale amplifier and serviced Naim amp in an active system and they seem to work well. Les knows what my system is and he didn't discourage me! M. bob atherton 28-01-10, 10:57 AM Hi. Naim snaxo/naxo - avondale amps - a good idea?? erik I would have thought so. I use an S100 with my IBL's and it sounds better than when I used to have active 250's with IBL's. erik_bjorge@hot 28-01-10, 01:50 PM I would have thought so. I'm sure that would be great. But for me it's a question of money, space and WAF. erik_bjorge@hot 28-01-10, 11:57 PM I'm sure that would be great. But for me it's a question of money, space and WAF. With snaxo 242 - connection is one amp on high - and one amp on low - should there be a problem with different amps? Erik Jo Sharp 29-01-10, 12:02 AM With snaxo 242 - connection is one amp on high - and one amp on low - should there be a problem with different amps? Erik No, that is why naim changed from left/right to treble/bass split when the 242 came out. You can happily use, say, a 250 on treble and a 200 on bass. but I wouldn't mix amps from different manufacturers. |
