IEMs
Anyone know their in ear monitors? After something decent to go with my walkman, must have really good isolation. I'm sure this is a stupid question but I presume iPhone 'headset' versions also work with ordinary vanilla MP3 players and amps... I ask because looking around on Amazon, you seem to be able to by the versions with mics and buttons for a lot less than those without... can you see where I'm going?
![]() Thinking along the lines of Etymotic Research HF2/HF5 or Shure SE215 at the moment, any thoughts? Alex |

I have the etymotics and paid the extra for custom fit which was well worth it!
Shutting out background noise us far better than that noise cancelling rubbish. Just keep very still if you go for a fitting even moving you jaw can upset the seal. Btw anything is better than supplied headphones. Iain |

I have a pair of these and they work very well...
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Klipsch-X10i...6392143&sr=1-7 I think there's a cheaper version without the iPhone bits. Shouldn't be any problem using iPhone enabled headphones on another player.
