The Punch Brothers- "Antifogmatic"- HIGHLY accessible Bluegrass pop leanings..
These guys are great. all virtuoso on their respective instruments. Chris Thile is the bandleader(a mandolin phenom)
It has a bit of the bluegrass underpinning, but by and large it is a great pop/indie album. great melodies/arrangements and recording. Produced by Jon Brion. http://www.punchbrothers.com/about/ http://open.spotify.com/album/2C37EWVmuBXjXqxhGwJM5c |

The Punch Bros are on Jools Holland tonight. There is a rich seam of neo country roots (?) music happening with these guys, Crooked Still and others like the Wailin Jennys. Its all there on Spotty-fi.
