  2. Where we are now: The site is back up and running! The character set encoding issue has been fixed so old posts should now look ok. I am currently working on themes/skins etc and I will be deleting the temporary green skin very soon as it has many issues. I will do a very quick variation on the stock blue skin first just to get a light-grey background and san-serif font, and I will set this as default. Later this week I will hopefully add a professional third-party skin in pfm colours (life is way too short to do this crap myself, and I've found one I really like than needs next to no tweaking). We are getting there slowly...

  3. May I please request people check and update their email address if it is out if date. I ask as I’m getting countless bounce errors as the server fails to send notifications through etc. I’ll eventually figure out how to send these to a black hole somewhere, but it makes sense to address it at source as quite a few folk are obviously not getting the thread and conversations notifications they have set in their preferences.

  4. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Hi went to see Australian pink Floyd last night, at the theater royal here in nottingham, great show, but a bit scaled down from when i saw them two years ago, the sound was very good, but not as loud as i remember last time, or, as loud as the going rate for live music, could of been a little louder IMO, track list was good , and there is a lot to choose from, had an interval which i liked having downed about six odd pints before i got there, time for a pee and two double gin and tonic's all in 20 minuets, not too shaby for an old dude, across the road in langtrys, booze is cheaper there, another great night, sank another 6 or 7 pints afterwards and felt like SHITE this morning at 6am for work, still i has to be done, god i love live music :D

12 pints plus G & T? I would be in hospital in serious trouble.

I think 5 is the most I have ever drunk - that was Guiness in Dublin. No hangover, but that was 20 years ago now.

1 - 2 pints on a Sunday evening after some wine with Sunday Dinner is about my lot these days.

Aye, I always regret downing 4 pints before watching the Allman Bros (Hammy Odeon - 1991) - can't remember much at all much to my chagrin!

Drinking beer is the same as putting fuel in your car. You wouldn't just put a gallon in would you ? You fill the car up to it's capacity ... same with drinking beer :)

I'd rather the Nottingham Pink Floyd played in Australia.
