1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

there's a youtube channel called 'Kritter Klub' which seems to be largely Chinese based (and you need subtitles turned on) - that show a lot of pet rescue videos etc...most have happy endings, but the poor things tho, have had hard lives...

one where a dog was dumped at the side of a road and lived there for 5 months in the hope that it's owner would return :(

Dogs get a rough time in Thailand. Lovely people they may be, dogs are not that highly regarded and there seems to be more strays than pets. I once took a soi dog to a vet because its eye was hanging out and covered in flies. He thought I was hilarious when I said no I did not want him to destroy it I was happy to pay extra to have the eye cut out and the socket stitched up. Jack became an outside pet to us for a few months after that, sleeping on the drive and getting fed and watered.

    Dogs rock. Most humans don't.

Haha, as a 35 year old male, I still say that every time I see dogs. I saw one the other day sitting in someone’s window whilst I was driving towards a bend, which if I missed, would land me in the canal... I said “look at the dog!!!”, my daughter was more concerned with the prospect of landing in the canal.

PS, I’m a safe driver really.
