1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Bought some vinyl through the Music Magpie offer. The first couple of things that arrived have been perfect and were very well packed. The prices were good before the 20% off so, thus far, I am happy.

Many bargains, both box set and not, to be had in the HMV sale. In store only, unfortunately. Stones big box £175, Beggars Banquet 50th £19.99, White Album £19.99, Hemispheres deluxe & super-deluxe £43/£89, Petty 4-LP box £33. Loads more....

This is the most this has been for a couple of years. Usually around the 8.99 mark. I think I paid 7.99 in the last but one HMV sale. Fopp trumped that shortly afterwards for 5.99.

I have to discover what folks see in Miles and the early stuff seems more accessible to me

Yes but is it good music ? Looks like specialist prog made by one of the proggiest musicians ever. ELP must be reggae compared to it.

Earthworks is Jazzier end of stuff and more acoustic than his releases as 'Bruford'.
