1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    Blind Faith were not too bad back in the *60s

    Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Rick Grech

    Saw them in Hyde Park, the crowd was huge

    Bass has to be Colin Hodgkinson - especially his solo stuff and with Backdoor. Bruce Thomas was also good.
    Keyboard - Count Basie - less is more. Marc-Andre Hamelin has an unmatched technique if you want a lot of notes.

    If we twist this to "my favourite" rather than best ...
    Drums = Ian Paice ( the already mentioned Manu Katche is damn fine too)
    Guitar = Joe Satriani
    Keyboards = Keith Emmerson
    Bass = Mark King

    I might think of different ones later though!

    I like the Paice suggestion for drums. Would also offer Neil Peart. Opposite ends of the spectrum on the size of the drum kit required! Also really like Charlie Watts.

    Marchbanks Golly, do I ever have a lot of soul!

    I like this... all you need is Christian Vander on drums and you have the most unhinged band ever. Ignoring the obvious problems regarding Lemmy’s participation, of course.

    Lemmy and Christian sharing vocals would be a joy to behold as well. And if Lemmy has a sore throat Christian and Keith could do a scat-singing duet.
