1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Bluebell Audio?

    Has anyone recently spoken to Phil Ramsay or Eric of Bluebell Audio in Dundee?

    Phil was building me a pre amp, but would appear to have retired and handed his business over to Eric who is refusing to return my calls.

    Is the company still trading? Is Phil still with us?

    What to do?

    I just received some transformers from them a couple of days ago. I don't know the name of the man I spoke to (Scottish accent) but I think it was the same man I spoke to last time, two years ago. Oh, and he said he was testing an amp, which was why he was a bit slow in returning my call, but only one day.

    Anyone got a contact number for Phil?

    I've been waiting 3.5 years for parts to build a pair of amps. A lot has happened in that time and i'm no longer doing audio DIY but want to try and recover as much of my £800 outlay as possible.

    I've emailed many times, left voicemails etc. I hear from Phil sporadically, like once every 6 to 8 months where he assures me that everything is ok - and then nothing happens. Theres'a group of us over on DIYAudio that are considering taking legal action against Bluebell. Eric doesn't respond to messages and he has a responsibility in this being the proprietor now since my contract is with Bluebell Audio Ltd and not with Phil directly.

    Sorry Dan, only just seen your response.
    No everything was done by email with Philip off the web page contact details. Whole transaction took less than a week...

    I'm still not getting any response out of Phil and neither are any of his 5 other DIY Audio creditors.

    Anyone hear anything?
