1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

up till now I have used a long headphone to rca adapter lead to get audible etc into the system with JBL Aquarius speakers

However with time to brood on the possible demise of chinese gizmo manufacturing and soc/iso Im thinking I should start to use bluetooth to get input into the Classik

I have searched the forums and seen nothing recomended - high quality isnt a big issue as its mostly going to be podcasts and maybe youTube but ease of setting up is important as the missus is the main customer.

I browsed the amazon today and they seem cheap enough for the convenience but nae doot theres some expertise here.

Just buy one that can connect through the Classic inputs or with an adaptor and it should work fine.

    linnfomaniac83 I bet you can’t wheelie a unicycle!

The Logitech is probably a good bet for a cheapie, I wouldn’t expect high end HIFI performance but it’s around £30 and it’s Logitech, so it’ll work.

    Hi rodders
The ones i find visually tempting are the minimalist ones at around a tenner, but they talk unhelpfully about battery life of 8 hours, so thats no use. Bigger ones around 20 are transceivers, have a wallwart but require shelfspace and arent plug and play (for the missus)

None of the adverts discuss sound quality and most dont refer to stereo systems but the ones with rca out are clearly fit

They often just seem so cheap its hard to believe they are going to last or be good quality so i was hoping some had gone through the process

The Logitech one I bought about 8 years ago still works fine, it’s used to feed an amplifier and outdoor speakers in my parent’s garden. You just simply leave it tucked behind your stereo once initially paired and select it on your device when you want to use it.

If you want to enjoy playing games on your PC, listen to music or enjoy uninterrupted calling sessions without any hassles then you should definitely look for equipment that will help you enjoy yourself to the fullest.
