  2. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

    Thanks, everyone.

I'll probably win something like a 32Gb card, but that's missing the point for me.

    Roll on next year.

I'm only a runner up in the UK round, so it is a small cash prize. Perhaps the judges at the international round will see sense ;)

Congrats Tony. I have never even heard of this competition. The photo has a good ambiance, sense of place.

I shouldn't be picky, but I have seen far, far better of the HoP. That one is not more than a snapshot, and it needs serious straightening, a real bugbear.

I'm a bit surprised by the winner to be honest - as a Brighton resident that shot of the west pier is a bit hackneyed (it's looked like this and been photographed for years). If you look on flickr:

Anyhow, congrats on getting your award!
