1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

I used to be die hardcore vinyl listener. I collected LP's, I used to spend hours on ebay, travelled to fairs. CD never got to me the same way. And yes I tried a decent setup. I still bought CD's because I obviously couldn't get everything on mint condition vinyls.

When Spotify came up I subscribed for a month or two. Resubsrcibed when we threw a party for playlist ease. I considered it worse than CD tbh.

I recently bought a used Aries Mini and man, Qoboz and Tidal are a dream come true for me. That quality is awesome. That's actual MUSIC. Today I found out how much I love DSD purchases. This is what music has to sound like for me (...). I am lost for the CD. I'll never buy a single one again. I will buy high res audio for sure. So a mix of streaming and buying the stuff I love in high res.

So to come back to OP's question - Buying and owning music actually started new for me. (signs off hunting DSD Sellers)
