1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Another sad one, I was photographing a mutual friend in 2011 and he told me she had passed away, leaving a young family.

Back to the Bass Rock, a abit further east along the coast at Tantallon Castle.... think I'm Ok with the Fuji sharpness but maybe struggling with Capture One, things just seeming a bit artificial maybe?

Just to give some context of what conditions were like in Snowdonia. This image was taken the day before. The winds were so strong that I literally couldn't stand up! It was such a rush :D

It’s you!! Weather was horrible there last year when you were there!!! That said I’ve not seen Cwm Idwal quite as evil as that!!

Haha - I'm beginning to think that as well! It was even worse than when we were there last time. Biblically wet too. I was out with Rick Bebbington for the day (the guy who does filming for Nigel Danson sometimes) and we had a blast. At one point, when it calmed, we almost went up Devil's Kitchen, but we're glad we didn't as it quickly got mental again.

Thank you - it was crazy! Never seen anything like it.

It's an oldy..but it's also classic pose..and I'll wager you have the coloured version too, which would be nice to see...Do you have any more tastelful glamour images??

Presumably you've chosen to haul the big Nikon out as part of your recovery exercise regime! Are you enjoying it, or do your prefer the little Fuji?

I'm using an F4S on my daily walk at the moment. Just picking the bloody thing up is exhausting.

Hadn't considered the D700 as a tool for cardiac rehab but yes, it's a bit of a lump! Haven't used it in at least a couple of years, had forgotten how noisy and crude it feels - but it's also very satisfying at the same time. I was always a Nikon-nut back in 35mm times, so it's now a good partner for my FE & F3 - and of course my couple of AI lenses work perfectly on it too.
