1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

ive got an activ linn system and am trying to "clean" up the birds nest behind my gear...instead of 4 pr of 1.2m ICs, i was thinking to cut sections, maybe 8 inches or so, and use them. The linn silver ic has the outer plastic (silver color) coating, then copper braided around white plastic with thin copper strand insted that. what type of solder, iron, what should contact the rca plug...and who other than linn makes a decent plug that affordable? ty all

on the ic connections if they are a straight coax [two wire] then the central one normally is connected to the centre pin of the rca plug.

the best value rca plug is the neutrik ny series for about £1 each...

the sort of soldering Iron would be an antex 15 watt ...but if your not a skilled solder use standard solder rather than silver.....its a pain if you get the joint wrong as it tends to melt once at low temp only...

if you need further help give me a pm...
