1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

This is the evil goateed version of the other thread.

    For starters...

    Neil Young
    Bob Dylan
    Tom Waits
Captain Beefheart aka Don Van Vliet
    Geddy Lee

    Keith Jarrett.

    (Not for his singing, though.)

Isn’t the other thread the evil goateed version? I would have thought this one was cuddly and forgiving.

Billie Holiday has one of the sweetest, most expressive voices I have heard. In her later years, it sounded a bit broken, but yet it was so emotive and reflective of her fragile state.

Madonna (esp in her early days) can't sing for toffee. Elvis Costello seems limited but compensates well with his passion for the lyrics. Willie Nelson does well with his vocal limitations as well. Then there's Steve Tyler, the irritating voice on Girls Just Want to Have Fun which leads me to the Spice Girls.

    Marchy,

The other thread came first, so this is the evil version of that evil thread. And as we all know, two evils make a good.

Thanks for the explanation, Joe. I’ve been a bit confused by evil goateed twins ever since discovering that Bender was the evil twin despite Flexo having the goatee.

I have become a recent convert to the singing of Chet Baker following the reissue by Tone Poet of 'Chet Baker Sings'.
