1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

Drop Frankly, Mr Shankly, Never Had No One Ever and Vicar in a Tutu. They become B sides to the singles instead.

Bring in Rubber Ring, Asleep and Unloveable.

It goes from a great album to a great album. What do you reckon?

Much as I love those other 3, I would never want to change it. Needs the light and shade etc that they bring. I actually love the demo of Never Had!

Mmm. It's a close thing. Apart from Never, which is a self-pitying dirge devoid of the usual wit, insight or poignancy. Dump it, I say!

I never liked Some Girls are Bigger than Others. But you can't mess.

More of a Meat is Murder man myself, even though I think the title track is the worst song they ever recorded. It's got to be there.

Meat is Murder is a dreadful track. Again, how much more tasty would that record be if you replaced it with, say, How Soon is Now? Answer: lots more tasty.

My Mrs and I basically fell in love at the time we both fell in love with The Smiths (concurrent with their "career"). One oddity here is that she has never been able to listen to the songs Meat Is Murder and Suffer Little Children. I kinda love the fact that this band did songs that were just too hard to listen to for some people.
