1. Things you need to know about the new ‘Conversations’ PM system:

    a) DO NOT REPLY TO THE NOTIFICATION EMAIL! I get them, not the intended recipient. I get a lot of them and I do not want them! It is just a notification, log into the site and reply from there.

    b) To delete old conversations use the ‘Leave conversation’ option. This is just delete by another name.

I am a Tory, one of God's chosen few. He is just a bloody redneck, I bet he spits baccy and does unpleasant things with horses.

And you think your generalisations won't offend anyone! My political leanings do not affect my sexual ones, my thoughts on rent boys or brown envelopes.

You are a tw#t of the highest order.

I thought it was rather tragic.
These two naive boys had 'issues', the ginger one's description of hiding his accent and his background(the implication that a foe was about the unmask him as a prol)was both telling about the snobbery and rather sad.

If you are that sensitive, stay out of politics.

The Libs had a dodgy leader with Jeremy Thorpe and quite a few since then.

No not homophobia, but guys like Simon Huges who mounted a nasty campaign against Peter Tachell, and quoting himself as the straight man, only to be forced into admitting he himself had gay relationships. Somewhat hyprcritical.

It's a good job we no longer have hypocrits in politics nowdays ;)

So politics is only for the thick skinned, hardliners, homophobes and loudmouths like you is it?

    I hope not.

It's certainly not for delicate sensitive people who are easily offended or indulge in practices the red tops can pillory them for.

So they hide their preferences and are therefore hypoccrites. Or they admit to liking a little gay TV action & never get elected.

No win situation, is it not?

Dear Mister Zener. I am somewhat perturbed at the distinction you make between working for a living, OR running a company.

I need to point out that running a company is in fact working for a living. Whether one does it for a board and shareholders, one still works and draws reward, in the same way that one does when running one's own company. True, the latter can in some cases be considered a 'lifestyle choice'.

A more useful distinction could be to say I'm not sure politics should be a career , but something you get into after experiencing life , ie working for a living or working in a non-profit organisation or government agency. ;)

Everyone knows running a company just means going for boozy lunches.
